Duration: 3.5 hours. Level: Easy
An evening ride across the beautiful Toronto Islands.
Join us on a post dinner evening ride around the beautiful Toronto Islands. As evening falls, the daytime crowds and tourists retreat back across the water to the city. You’ll experience what few tourists and locals get to experience: the beauty of the islands after dusk!
After a short ferry ride across the harbour, we’ll explore the car free neighbourhoods on the eastern Islands and visit historic landmarks such as the Gibraltar Point Lighthouse and the Royal Canadian Yacht club. We’ll stop for a dessert treat (our “cookie challenge”). Of course, we’ll also enjoy the scenery, including the parks, the beaches, the cottages, and some incredible views of the Toronto skyline as it lights up the evening sky. Along the way, you’ll hear stories about key people and events from the last 200 years of the island’s remarkable history.
The tour is suitable for beginner to advanced riders, as we move at an easy pace and make plenty of stops to talk and take in the sights. The Islands are safely lit after dark. Our guides are expert city riders and very familiar with Toronto.
Children are welcome when accompanied by a parent/guardian.
Price: $80. Includes use of a bicycle with front and back lights, helmet, reflective vest, water, ferry ticket, snacks and dessert.
Price is subject to 13% sales tax.
