This was a great tour! Oscar was friendly, informative and safe. The ride to the islands, the timing with the ferry and the stops were perfect. He even offered us snacks! I’d choose another tour in the future for sure. This was my friend’s second time touring with the Toronto Bicycle Tours & Events. We went back thanks to her great experience 5 years ago. Hopefully it won’t be 5 more years until we book another one! Thank you Oscar!

“You do not have to be an experienced cyclist to take the tour. One of my colleagues had never ridden a bike before and was able to use a tandem bike to enjoy the tour.”

I went on the tour in April 2018 and had a great time, Terence and Pree looked after us very well and i learned so much and found some excellent spots to revisit prior to leaving a few days later. The tour was very interactive and fun,l also took the Island Tour with Tara later the same day, and had some magic views of the Toronto Skyline and learnt some more about about this wonderful city. I will be back and would love to try another tour from this great company. Thank you Terence , Pree and Tara.

My wife, 6 year old daughter, and I did the combo package. This island tour was the second half in the evening. Mia was an amazing guide. She was friendly, knowledgeable, and very attentive to the needs of my daughter who came along in a trailer hitch. They even had bug spray for us! Wonderful experience. Roberto was also a great backup to the crew because we had a large group, offering extra photo ops at great spots. I also felt very safe with the crew watching us as well as providing us with various safety equipment. Well done.

The day the started well when the meeting point was well signposted in the car garage we were told to meet them in. It made it very easy to know where to park. Ryan was very knowledgeable about local history and had amusing stories and fun facts along the way. It was great fun riding the bikes through the city to the ferry port and even more fun riding through Toronto Islands and seeing how lovely it was there along with amazing views of the Toronto skyline across the water. He provided water and snack bars along the way which was appreciated. Multiple restroom stops if required. The bikes themselves were very good quality and easy to use. Would defiantly recommend to anyone who is considering it.

Really great tour of downtown Toronto to get your bearings and see all the major areas.
Have a lot of stops so the 3.5hrs isn’t straight cycling (which we found good). Highly recommend

We did the Downtown tour (with Carlos) as well as the Island tour (with Sydney and Boxy) and enjoyed every minute of it. We would highly recommend at least the downtown tour if you want to have a great overview of all the nice places in Toronto. If you are lucky enough to be guided by Carlos, you will end the tour with a lot of very nice pictures and a lot of nice fun facts about the city, as well as tips for restaurants and other must-visits. Thanks to our tour guides for the memorable tours and lovely pictures! 10/10 from Belgium!

This was a really good bike tour of Toronto. The route our leader Consuelo took us on passed through some fascinating areas and I’m pretty sure included everything and more of what we’d hoped to see. Consuelo gave us plenty of information, time to enjoy each stop and took plenty of photos which she later gave us a link to. Yes, we loved the experience and we’ll certainly be recommending it to anyone we know travelling to Toronto.

I did the Downtown and Island combo with Terrence and it was the best day. I’ve recently moved to Toronto and learnt a lot about the city. But I also met some amazing people! The highlight of our Toronto trip! Sydney is the tour guide extraordinaire! She mastered the art of safety, fun, history teacher & photographer!! The island is beautiful, rich in history & this bike tour offered the perfect balance of taking in the sights with a good bit of exercise & fresh air! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!

We had a terrific time seeing the city with Mike and Ryan! The bikes were comfortable and well-maintained, and the route was interesting and with the perfect amount of sight-seeing and riding. Ryan was definitely a perfect ambassador for the city of Toronto, as well as for Canada. By the time we were done, I wanted to move here permanently! They both went out of their way to give us information for the rest of our stay, and made great recommendations for eating and adventure. I definitely suggest taking this tour when you first arrive to get a feel for the city!

We couldn’t have chosen a better way to start our trip out in Toronto. The most difficult part of the tour was getting out of the parking garage. Our guide, Silvia, was great! She made sure out group was well taking care of: safety, information, guidance and even fixed a bike chain, what a girl! Our group ranged in age from 22-64, and we all did fine. Once we got to the ferry the ride was more relaxing, but Silvia made sure we got through the city all together. She was very knowledgeable about the history of the island. Would have loved to see the island in it’s glory days! Would definitely recommend the evening tour – our sunset from the island was amazing!

We had a wonderful bike experience with Mariana. Our trip took us out to the Toronto Islands. It was a gorgeous day and we enjoyed everything about it. The ferry ride gave us the opportunity to see the Toronto skyline with the sun shining on it. The Toronto Islands hold history, creativity, opportunities for recreation, and relaxation. We highly recommend this tour and hope you get to have Mariana and learn a bit more about Toronto and the islands.

Thank you for a great experience! We are not frequent cyclists but the pace of this tour was perfect for our family and our host made the sightseeing really interesting. Well timed stops (restrooms were signposted) and informative stories meant we weren’t fatigued and got to see parts of the city we may have missed on foot. Our friendly and knowledgeable host took photos of us at key landmarks (even lying on the ground to take in the height of the CN Tower!) Highly recommended as a way to get your bearings in Toronto and you don’t have to be super fit 🙂
