  • 15-20 hours per week. We operate 7 days per week so there will be weekend work. A team of Administrators will divide the weekly load

The Role

As the go-to person for all guest interactions, you’ll set the stage for memorable experiences. From handling queries to making tailored recommendations, your role is to ensure our guests have a fantastic time from start to finish.

You’ll also support tour operations by efficiently coordinating schedules, handling guest escalations, and making sure that all details, big and small, are perfectly arranged.

  • A “big picture” mindset that helps you identify patterns and streamline operations
  • A high level of dependability & reliability, ensuring tasks are completed accurately and on time, allowing the team to operate smoothly and reliably.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Coordinate with third parties & guests via email, phone and online to schedule bicycle tours and rentals
  • Manage and maintain accurate records of bookings, tour schedules, and payments using our booking system
  • Maintain an efficient and effective tour guide scheduling system
  • Operational support: check for waivers and complete guest information, making sure that everything is up to date
  • Assist with the maintenance up-to-date documentation: e.g. procedural documents and guidelines
  • Other duties as required

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience
  • At least 2 years of experience in customer service, administrative roles, or event planning.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Great phone & email manner
  • Detail-oriented and highly organized with excellent time management skills.
  • Strong customer service orientation
  • Strong computer/internet skills. Proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel), Google Suite, instant messaging applications.
  • Experience using online staff scheduling and reservation management software is an asset.
  • Ability to work independently in a remote setting, with a strong sense of self-motivation and accountability.
  • Live in or near Toronto today; a familiarity with the layout of Downtown Toronto is a strong asset
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends during peak tour season (April – October)
